- Documents: Ghana passport, Germany passport/naturalisation certificate, birth certificate, photographs
Ghana Card Registration
Register for your Ghana Card at the Ghana Embassy Berlin. The Ghana Card is mandatory for passport applications.
- Fee: $50 - $100 USD
- Processing: 4-8 weeks
- Documents: Ghana passport or birth certificate, proof of residence, photographs
Birth Registration Abroad
Register the birth of your child born in Germany with the Ghana Embassy Berlin to establish their Ghanaian citizenship.
- Child born to at least one Ghanaian parent is automatically a Ghanaian citizen
- Bring: Germany birth certificate, parents passports, marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Fee: $25 - $50 USD
