Ghana Card Registration
Register for your Ghana Card at the Ghana Embassy Rome. The Ghana Card is mandatory for passport applications.

- Processing: 4-8 weeks
- Documents: Ghana passport or birth certificate, proof of residence, photographs
Birth Registration Abroad
Register the birth of your child born in Italy with the Ghana Embassy Rome to establish their Ghanaian citizenship.
- Child born to at least one Ghanaian parent is automatically a Ghanaian citizen
- Bring: Italy birth certificate, parents passports, marriage certificate (if applicable)
