Online Applications: Ghana has moved most passport applications online. Visit passport.mfa.gov.gh to start your application. You will still need to attend an embassy in person for biometric capture.

Step-by-Step: Online Passport Application
- Visit passport.mfa.gov.gh and create an account
- Select your application type (new, renewal, replacement, child)
- Enter your Ghana Card number (mandatory)
- Fill in personal details, upload passport photo (white background, JPEG/PDF)
- Add guarantor details (two guarantors required for new applications)
- Pay the application fee online or select pay-at-counter
- Print the completed application form and sign it
- Book an appointment at your nearest embassy for biometric capture
- Attend with your printed form, old passport (if renewing), photographs, and fee receipt
