3. Fort William

A hilltop British fort offering panoramic views over Cape Coast town, the castle, and the Atlantic Ocean. Less visited than the castle but equally atmospheric.

A beautiful campus that doubles as a quiet park. Walk along the beachfront, visit the botanical garden, and enjoy stunning ocean views. The campus is home to one of Ghana most beautiful stretches of coastline.

5. Oguaa Fetu Afahye Festival (September)

Cape Coast biggest annual festival, celebrated in September with a colourful durbar of chiefs, traditional drumming and dancing, a regatta, and feasting. The streets come alive with Fante cultural pride.
